What are Adhesive Bandages? Why Do you Use Them?

When it comes to wound care, the most important goal is to stop bleeding and prevent infection. Infected or deep cut wounds that won’t stop bleeding need immediate medical action. The self-care method for wound care is applying an adhesive bandage dressing. In some parts of the world, they’re known as adhesive plaster strips. But how do you know which adhesive bandage to keep in stock? Perhaps this blog post will help. Adhesive bandages are thin textile strips that adhere to skin to protect to wound or scab. They have anti-septic properties to accelerate the healing rate and reduce infection. How they are designed This Bandage Tape is manufactured with woven polyurethane, polyethylene or latex. One side of the bandage has an adhesive applied to stick securely on the skin and hold wounds together. A small, non-stick pad is stick on the adhesive side of the strip to collect any fluid leaving the wound.   This pad covers the actual injury site and protects wounds fairly
